Take A Break

So I missed a few days on my blog, but that is the point. My workplace is probably very similar to yours. We've been having layoffs left and right, but the work load just keeps getting bigger. Fewer people and more work. So everyone around here is just burnt out. And staring out the window looking at the view of New York Harbor and the Statue of Liberty isn't enough down time to get the engines running again. So a good tip for a lil' bit of happiness is just stop working. Do what I do, leave at 2:30 in the afternoon and go see a movie. Zombieland was a blast. Call in sick of work. Your boss will applaud your spirit. And take a day or two off your blog, you deserve it.
